I think I’ve eaten a weeks worth of cheese in one appetizer at the The Flan Factory.
Their Timba is an appetizer of flash fried chunks of queso blanco with a side of guava dipping sauce.
The portion size is HUGE and enough for two since each chunk is almost two (2) inches square.
We definitely needed to try their flan and with dozens of flavors listed on menu, we picked Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Absolutely fantastic. A thick sugar shell covered a creamy custard flan.
Just popping in for a quick dessert was so worth today’s trip.
The Flan Factory also has Cuban Fried Rice available on weekends, but they said to get there early since they always sell out.
